This is my second collaboration with Bookroo and I think it’s my favorite one I’ve ever done. If you’ve been following our journey the last few weeks then you know that we’ve spent 3-4 days every week at doctors appointments or therapys. So when we opened these adorably wrapped books from Bookroo and ” Catch That Cookie” was one of them I knew that we would have to bake some gingerbread cookies of our own after reading this adorable children’s book.

If you didn’t read about my last collaboration with them then you might not know about Bookroo. Bookroo is where you can buy a months subscription of children’s books that come individually wrapped. And if your babe is like mine then the wrapping paper it’s self could entertain them for hours. Adaline LOVES paper. But she loves this book too. We honestly haven’t even picked up the other one because I’m kind of obsessed with this one. It’s about a little boy whose class bakes gingerbread cookies, but they run away…. I won’t spoil the ending

So after a few crazy weeks we decided to treat ourselves and bake our own gingerbread cookies at grandmas and grandpas. Their house is perfect for getting in the Christmas spirit. We put up 7 Christmas trees every year. Sadly this year we all had food poisoning so my mom and dad did most of it with a little help from us when we felt okay.

Now… keep in mind. We are NOT artistic. At all. Whatsoever. So do not mock our decorating skills on the gingerbread.

But you can enjoy perfect little Adaline. And before you freak out… the candy cane she is playing with is wrapped. She’s not eating sugar.
